Dear IATA,
RMs raised by Migrated Entity against Non Migrated Entity can be further rejected only through SIS. Is there any transition period or is it valid at once when a NON Migrated Entity raise a RM against Migrated Entity's RM. Means can't be done outside SIS.
Can Prime Coupon billings still rejected outside SIS until Non Migrated becomes Migrated.

Dear Juhani,
There is no transition period - once an RM is raised in SIS it needs to be responded to in SIS within the time limit.
However, billings can still be rejected outside of SIS if they were raised outside of SIS.
Hope this clarifies.
Best regards

Dear IATA,
Assuming we have an airline partner that is an early adopter and goes-live in September 2011, and they raise Misc invoice to bill us.
If we in turn would like to reject this invoice, is it mandatory to raise rejection billing through IS-Web? Or could we continue to raise rejection billing outside of IS-Web (ie unchanged from current process)?
Thanks in advance for your advise.
Best regards

Dear Huei Phua,
According to the Revenue Accounting Manual (RAM) rules (ref. RAM A10, part 2), if an airline receives a Prime billing or rejection or correspondence that was submitted via SIS, and it wishes to dispute that billing, rejection or correspondence, it has to do so via SIS. This is applicable to all billing categories (Passenger, Cargo, Miscellaneous, and UATP after the respective SIS implementation).
So in summary, if your interline partner has submitted Misc billings to you via SIS, rejections and correspondence to these billings will need to be done via SIS (i.e. IS-Web).
Please also note that this question has also been addressed in the FAQ section of the SIS website.
Best regards
