Sandbox Availability date

Hi,

1. As we approaching the migration timeline, may us know when will the sandbox be available for testing?

2. Is there any forms that we need to submit to SIS or questions that we need to answer prior to testing/migration?

3. What is the process of getting the certification?

Regards,
Marliyana

Dear Marliyana,

Please find the replies to your questions below:

1. As answered in your other post in the Timeline discussion board, the Sandbox will be available to the industry mid August 2011.

2. The IS Participation Agreement will have to be signed and returned to IATA before being allowed to connect to the Sandbox/update your own SIS Member Profile/use IS-Web.

3. The Sandbox enviroment will allow self-testing for the participants. In essence, you will be able to send IS-XML or IS-IDEC files to the Sandbox and get a error report in return, highlighting the errors to be corrected in the system creating the file. Once no more errors are detected then the participant can send a file for certification to the Sandbox, but this fie will have to include a minimum number of records and permutation-combination to enable an appropriate coverage and pass the certification.

SIS Operations will then be notified upon sucessful certification. For your information, the Sign Up guide, once released, will provide further details.

Kind regards
