SA A/B without D/E?

Hi IATA.

RAM states that a sampling form A/B always has to be responded to with a sampling form D/E. Will SIS support that? What happens in case a migrated carrier issues a SIS sampling form A/B to OAL and SIS never receives a SIS sampling form D/E from OAL to the migrated carrier?
For form C SIS will generate a NIL form C, but what happens in case of a missing form D/E?

Please advise.

Thanks
Claudia (LH)

Hi Claudia,

If a Form D/E is not received in SIS for a Form A/B, SIS will not allow any further action to be taken on the invoice. There is no process of Nil Form D/E generation in SIS. In case the Form A/B issuing carrier needs to do any adjustments a billing memo will have to be raised.

Best regards
