Attachments Index File

In section 12.14 the following has been removed:

Note 2: XML Index file will be generated by SIS and provided along with the Supporting Attachments. The Output XML Index file will follow the same format as

defined above with the following changes:

1. Element 3 will be the Billed Entity Code

2.1. Element 8 will be the Billing Entity Code

This statement recognised that there was a difference between an incoming and an outgoing Attachments INDEX file. There is now no reference to this difference, furthermore the XML definition file that is provided for the Supporting Documents only defines the outgoing (from us) format and not the format we expect to receive.

The result of this is that when an attempt is made to parse an incoming Supporting documents INDEX file an error occurs as it does not conform to the definition specified in http://www.iata.org/whatwedo/finance/clearing/sis/Documents/schemas/AttachmentTransmissionV3.2..xsd

Dear Matt,

The XML Index file described by the Schema definition file AttachmentTransmissionV3.2..xsd in Section 12.14 is only for incoming Batch Supporting Document zip file from the carriers to IS.

The definition of the XML Index file for the output generated by SIS for the carriers is defined in Section 12.19 – Offline Archive File – Layout and Index File Specification.

Best regards
