Bad IDEC file & Supporting Documents

What should be done in this case:

1.       Billing entity sends an IDEC and Supporting Documents files to SIS.

2.       After some time, SIS decides that the IDEC fails sanity check.

3.       According to ISPG  (pp' 3.3.1.), the billing entity needs to delete the IDEC file from SIS.

4.       Build a new, fixed, IDEC file.

5.       Resend the IDEC to SIS.

What about the Supporting Documents file?

Should it be also deleted from SIS?

Thank you,

Michael

Dear Michael,

In SIS, there is a 2-step validation:

1st: Sanity Check, no data will be loaded in the data base here - if the file fails sanity check you would not need to remove it from SIS.

2nd: Detailed Validation, in this case data will be loaded in the data base, so you would need to remove it from SIS if the file fails Detailed Validation.

Regarding the Supporting Documents, we will get back to you on the process in case the invoice fails Detailed Validation.

Best regards
