TAX Breakdown Record-PAX

1. In the RM coupon breakdown record, there are lots of validation checks for amount difference for Gross, ISC, UATP, etc.  However, in the tax breakdown record, there is no validation check on the tax difference.  We suggest add the tax amount difference validation in the same manner.

2. Is there any thinking about the possibility that the number of tax codes might exceed five for one single coupon?

Hi. In the future, these should probably be separate questions, so that people interested in validation and people interested in over five taxes can find the relevant post.
1. I've opened ticket #153 and we'll investigate adding this validation and update this forum when something is decided.
2. The tax breakdown you refer to is similar to the prorate breakdown -- a question I addressed a few days ago. While the record itself has 5 areas for tax, the entire record can be repeated multiple times. See the "0-n" in the appropriate box of chapter 1.2.1 of the IS-IDEC standard. So, if you have to describe 1 - 5 taxes, you use once instance of SFI 41, and if you have to describe 6 - 10 taxes you would use two instances.

#153 was updated and the validation of the "tax amount difference" field is now:

1. In case of Rejection Stage in the parent Rejection Record = "1" or "3" Tax Amount Difference = Tax Amount Billed - Tax Amount Accepted
In case of Rejection Stage in the parent Rejection Record = "2" Tax Amount Difference = Tax Amount Accepted - Tax Amount Billed
