ToAirport Or PointOfTransfer Code - Line # 450

In the XML file specifications line # 450 relates to 'To Airport Or Point Of Transfer Code'. As per the specifications it is mentioned that this should be the valid airport code and that it should not be same as the 'From Airport Code'.

However, in case of Cargo - for Collect shipment (e.g. LHR-NRT) transferred at origin (LHR) to another carrier, the AWB owner carrier (transferer) will bill the transferee carrier for the value of Other Charges + ISC (if applicable). In such a scenario, the Carriage From (From Airport) will be the origin airport code (LHR). What should be the Carriage To (Airport To)? Currently all the invoices contain the From Airport 7 To Airport as as Origin-Origin (LHR-LHR). This will not work with SIS due to the validation that the 'ToAirport' should not be equal to 'FromAirport'.

Please advice. Thanks.

Dear Zarir,

For Collect Charge shipment, the 'To Airport' should be the point of transfer. Please refer to the CGO IS-IDEC Record Structure (AWB Data Record) for more info.

Best regards
