Form C and SC27

SIS Form C records should be rebilled as SC27.  Does SC27 validate that the record was on a Form C?  If we receive a Form C record with an indication that a reissued tkt should be billed instead, would we bill that reissued tkt as a SC01 rather than SC27 because that reissued tkt was not the item on the Form C?  If we bill as SC01 we may receive an out of time limit rejection.

Hi Jo Ann,

There is no validation for SC27 that the record being re-billed was on a Form C. If you receive a Form C record with an indication that a reissued ticket should be billed instead, you should bill it under SC 27.

If you bill this under SC 01 it will not be flagged as outside time limit as SIS does not do this check for flight date for Prime billings. However, if you use any other Source Codes than 27 in this case, it will be flagged as a duplicate billing.

Hope this clarifies.

Kind regards,

Ashley
