Posting period

Dear all,
What happens if we post invoices for period 1 and this period is not yet opened?
Are invoices rejected?
Are invoices put onhold and then processed when the corresponding period is opened?

Thanks for your help,

Hi Eric,

For the moment you may only submit invoices in the current open period. However, we are planning to release the Future Submission feature in Release 1.1, which allows you to submit invoices for up to the next four (4) periods of the billing month – this is limited to one month in advance. More information will be available as we approach the go-live of release.

Hope that clarifies.

Kind regards,

Ashley

Hi

I think also important to note information from Simplified Interline Settlement (SIS) Bulletin - Oct 2011 - issue 1

Invoice Submission and ICH F1/F3 in SIS Live Environment

Please note that the IS invoice submission period usually opens 2-3 days prior to the ICH period, which normally opens on Advice Day of the prior period. Therefore, any invoices submitted during this time window will be held in storage and will not show on the ICH Forms 1 and 3 until the ICH period opens.
