In terms of the technical requirements of SIS, we currently have the Integrated Settlement Participation Guide (ISPG). This document contains all the information your airline needs to fully implement IS. Please take note of the version of the ISPG that you and your IT department are reviewing, as we have recently released an ISPG package, which contains:
- a revised version of the ISPG itself (v3.1)
- a set of Record Structures (IS-IDEC and IS-XML)
- a set of invoice sample files
I think this is a good starting point for you to understand the requirements, structure, and functionalities of SIS. In addition, I also recommend reviewing some of the presentations we have given in past industry meetings (particularly SIS Functional Review and Technical Migration. These are posted on our SIS website; I think they will help in supplementing your understanding of Integrated Settlement as a system. Lastly, I encourage active participation in the SIS Forum as many important and insightful information about SIS functionalities are exchanged on a regular basis through this platform.
I hope this helps.

Subject: Specific Misc and Cargo Implementation
I'm looking after the Misc and Cargo implementations and need to point my IT department somewhere so they can get comfort on the IT requirements for SIS. I've provided them with the IATA SIS Phase 3 Implementation Guide (dated Sept 2010) but that doesn't seem to provide the information they need. Can anyone point me to anything on the website that would help? Thanks
