version number in File Header Record
Dear sirs,
In the ISPG version 3.2 article 1.4.1 element 5, it is the version number of the IS-IDEC Specification.
What happen if the outdated instead of the current version number was used ?
Thank you. |

Dear Kin Wong,
The file will fail validation, as we validate that you are sending the correct version of the file layout for processing.
Best regards

Hi
I understand IS-IDEC Version 3.2 will be the SIS go-live version in September 2011.
When is next version expected/planned? How often do you expect versions to change? How much advance warning can be expected for any change in version? Will there be intermediate versons (3.2.1, 3.2.2, etc)?
It is surprising IS will not support concurrent versions of IS IDEC file for a period of time when there is a version upgrade.

Hi, IATA,
We have the same concern too. We also want to know that during production (that is after Spet 2011), how will you control the version? Is it mandatory for us to use the latest version at the time you release it?

Dear all,
As of now, we plan to go live with the current version of the ISPG (v3.2). However, if the Pilot Testing phase manifests changes that may warrant a versioning change, this will be done before go-live.
After Sept 2011, releases will be done in a planned manner and advance notice will be provided. The details of the release management will also be communicated.
Best regards
