Suspended carrier Flag
If SIS puts a "Y" for suspended carrier, will the detail still be sent?
Thanks,
Lori

Hi Lori,
Before we can provide an answer, we would like to ask if you can please clarify your question - are you asking from a perspective of a billing or billed carrier? Also, which settlement method are you referring to?
Best regards

Hi - this is as a billed carrier - will we receive the detail even though they have been suspended in Passenger IS-IDEC.

Hi Lori, In this case then yes – the details will be sent to the suspended billed carrier but no settlement file will be sent. If SMI=I, then the settlement details can be manually triggered once the member is reinstated. Hi Lori,
To supplement my previous post, in case of suspension of either the billing or the billed entity/carrier and SMI = A or M, the settlement details will not be sent to ACH.
In case of SMI = I, the settlement details will be sent to ICH “as information only”. ICH will provide a special report to its members listing these “non-settled suspended invoices”.
Every carrier (including the suspended one) can trigger at any time - via a Web Analysis report - the suspended invoices.
After re-instatement, the creditor carrier can “submit” in IS-WEB the not-yet-settled invoices from SIS to the relevant Clearing house (ICH or ACH). Please note, these invoices may not be re-sent from the billing carrier to SIS – as it would be a double billing.
Best regards
