RM Record
Can Element 10 - Rejection Memo Number and 18 - FIM NUmber, Billing Memo/Credit Memo Number be the same?
Also, in RM coupon breakdown record can element 11 - ticket/doc number be this same number?
If you use the same number in all 3 will it pass validation?

Dear Pam, From a SIS system point of view, there will be no validation on whether or not these 3 elements contain the same values. So technically yes, this will pass validation. From a Revenue Accounting point of view, however, you may want to distinguish the RM numbers from the FIM billing/CM/BM/Ticket Number. Best regards From: FLYNN Pam [mailto:pflynn@flygreatlakes.com]

Can you give me a practical example? that would help me better understand the benefit of making each of these unique?
