Suspended Flag

When I recieve an I-DEC file from IATA will I receive a file with the Suspended Flag set to “Y”?  If so, what do we do with it at that point?

Does this mean I need to process the billing manually with this other Airline?

Dear Debra,

Yes. The Suspended Flag is in the IS-IDEC file - please refer to the IS-IDEC Record Structures - PAX-Invoice Header Record tab enclosed in the ISPG v3.2 package. If you currently do not have this set of documents, you can download it from the SIS website Integrated Settlement Participation Guide page.

If the Suspended Flag = Y, then the process for handling suspended invoices depends on the Settlement Method Indicator (SMI). The Suspended Process is outlined in the ISPG v3.2 Section 7.7.

Kind regards,
Ashley
