Rebilling Higher Than Rejection

Assuming the following billing history:
Carrier A 1st bill USD 100
Carrier B 1st rej USD 50
Carrier A 2nd rej USD 50
Carrier B 3rd rej USD 100
Question: Is this set-up possible, that carrier b rebills on 3rd rejection stage an amount which is higher than the 2nd rejection's, but not higher than the originally billed amount?
Pls adv. Thnx

This would not cause a validation error in IS.
