weight charge validation on rejection record

On the IS-IDEC Record Structure there is a validation for Weight charge fields which says:
"if weight charge billed amount is populated with a non zero value then weight charge accepted should also be populated."
Does it mean that in case weight charge billed amount populated with a non zero value then weight charge accepted should be populated with a non zero ?

Hi Michael,

Please refer to the Total Weight Charges billed in the Cargo Record Structures below:

Description: cid:image003.jpg@01CCCBA5.970D10C0

This is a field for rejections which states that if you enter one field you need to enter the other two fields (Total Weight Charges Accepted and Total Weight Charges Difference). Total Weight Charges Accepted can be a zero amount in a rejection, as per the example below:

Total Weight Charges Billed = $100

Total Weight Charges Accepted = $0

Total Weight Charges Difference = $100

Hope that clarifies.

Regards,

Ashley
