EU Data Protection Laws

Good afternoon, JetBlue is a U.S. based carrier and does not fly in or out of the EU nor do we process any transactions in the EU . How do the EU Data Protection Laws apply to JetBlue?

Thank you,
Sheryl Smith

Dear Sheryl,

As I mentioned in the post attachment G in this discussion board, we strongly advise you to seek advice from your Legal Department in completing this section of the IS Participation Agreement. While this is an EU Directive, only your legal department will be able to advise on whether this still bears legal implications on JetBlue.

Unfortunately we cannot provide further guidance on this topic as it differs amongst carriers.

Kind regards,

Ashley
