Membership status level 'Pending'

Hi, in the Signup and Certification Guide it states that a Pending Member will have no access to IS-WEB and invoices cannot be submitted against that pending member.

Can you clarify what this means? Does it mean that migrated members cannot submit any invoices against this member at any time?  This would seem to penalise the migrated member as opposed to the pending member.... or have I misunderstood?

Regards,
Michael.

Dear Michael,

At go-live, SIS will have about 700 entities pre-loaded in the system with 'Basic' status - this includes ICH, ACH, and non-CH members who are in the IATA Airline Coding Directory and have a full set of codes (both prefix and designator).

SIS Operations will use the 'Pending' status for initial set-up of entities who have not been pre-loaded. Once the initial set-up has been finalised, the status of these members will be switched to 'Basic'.

Best regards

Hi Ashley,

I dont know what the "IATA Coding Directory" is, so for sake of clarity, please can you confirm that IATA will be validating all current members of the clearing houses are at least a Basic Member in SIS by cut-over date, else we would not be able to raise billings to that carrier.

We may be saying the same thing here, but just so we understand

Thanks, Russell (BD)

Hi Russell,

Yes, this is correct. All current members of the Clearing House will be pre-loaded with status Basic at go-live.

Regards
Ashley
