TAX Nodes - Cargo XML

Hi,

Reference - SIS P3 - IATA IS XML Invoice Standard - V3.2.xls, published under version 3.2.1

Some of the fields under the TAX Node have been made mandatory in the new version.
If TAX is not applicable and is not calculated in the invoice, can this node be ignored. Or should we populate the mandatory fields in the TAX node with zero/default values

In the sample xml input file for Cargo, some times the TAX node is not present or at other times the fields are filled with zero .

Please advice.

Thanks for the reply in advance.

Regards,
Tobin

Hi George,

This is conditionally mandatory, which means if you report taxes then you will need to provide them (i.e. breakdown). If not then you will not need this node.

Hope that clarifies.

Rgds,

Ashley
