Line Item - Charge Code xml file

Dear Ashley,

Further to your response on the query ' Line Item - Charge Code in the xml file', we understand that the charge codes for cargo should be displayed as Prepaid AirWaybill, Collect AirWaybill, Rejection Memo, Billing Memo and Credit Memo instead of P,C,R,B,T and that- this is applicable to both input and output files.

However, the SIS P3 - IATA IS XML Invoice Standard - V3.2.xls document available in the latest package (3.2.1) still displays the description of the charge code field(line # 154) in the column SIS - Cargo Category Billings as follows

Should be a valid Cargo Billing Codes
P - Prepaid AirWaybill
C - Collect AirWaybill
R - Rejection Memo
B - Billing Memo
T - Credit Memo

Please advice on the relevance of the short codes P,C,R,B and T, and also if this is applicable to the XML file.

Thanks in advance,

Regards,

Tobin

Dear Tobin,

Short codes are not to be used in IS-XML; they are used in IS-IDEC only. In IS-XML the entire word "Prepaid AirWaybill" is to be used.

Hope that clarifies.

Regards,

Ashley
