LineItemDetail mandatory?

Dear all,
I'm confused.
What I read in the ISPG is that the LineItemDetail node is optional, but when submitting a file to IINET (sandbox), we get a rejection because LineItemDetail is missing.
So what's going on?

Thanks for your help,

Hi Eric,

For certain Charge Category/Code combinations line item detail is mandatory. Please let us know for which Charge Category/Code is the invoice you’re trying to submit?

Thanks,
Ashley

Hi Eric,

These charge codes require at least one line item detail – this is why the file failed in validation.

Rgds,

Ashley
