Attachments on Billing History
Hi Ashley,
If an airline is raising a 3rd stage rejection in SIS where all previous stages were billed outside of SIS (and there are only paper supports), is there a requirement that the new SIS 3rd stage recharge should have all of those previous paper supports scanned as attachments?
Thanks, Michael. |

Hi Michael, There is no requirement for this – however, you will need to provide the adequate supporting information as required by your partner for the rejection. Sorry, I don’t think the answer is correct. The SIS RAM states the following:
4.3.2 If a rejection memo is raised against a transaction that had been billed outside SIS, the airline raising the rejection shall attach to its rejection memo electronic copies of all prior supporting documents (e.g. ticket image, earlier rejection memos, prorate slips).
Please confirm

Hi Ashley,
Can you please clarify?
1. What status does the SIS RAM have? Was the clause on electronic supports voted on and approved by members at the Revenue Accounting Meeting?
2. What happens in relation to a non-migrated carrier who is billed by a migrated carrier. The non-migrated carrier will expect paper supports as opposed to electronic attachments on SIS?

Hi Ashley, can you shed some further light on this please?

Hi all, To confirm on this topic, SIS RAM 4.3.2 holds, the airline bringing the transaction into SIS will need to attach all previous supporting documents. If a non-migrated carrier is billed in SIS, they will need to respond in SIS (via IS-Web) and therefore can attach supporting documents electronically in SIS. Hope this clarifies.
