Flight Number and Flight Time for Handling LM - (Miscellaneous Engg)
Hi,
We have a difficult situation in identifying Flight Number and Flight Time for few Handling LM Work.
When a material is issued against the Line Maintenance work then the Material Stores is not capturing the Flight Number and Flight Date information.Asking the Dept to follow new procedure to include the Flight Number and Date is having some issues.
Is it possible to make these 2 fields optional for Handling LM.At the current manual ICH process,we are not sending any Flight Number and Flight Time for Material,So this is causing major change/obstacle in Project implementation.Is it possible to make these 2 fields optional or make some default values.Any suggestions are welcome. |

Dear Arikatla, Unfortunately there is no way around this requirement. The SIS requirements are frozen and these two fields will remain mandatory for the Charge-Code Handling LM. This is an industry requirement as these two types of information is important to cost allocation/reconciliation. So you can either look into acquiring this information from another Engineering system or make changes to the internal process to collect this information at the source.
