Mandate Date: non-fictitious values
Dear Ashley,
at the moments airlines are allowed to use fictitious values in the IS-XML. Could please tell me, when we have to stop using them and we have to use "real data"?
thanks and best regards

Dear Sandra, In fact fictitious value should not be used. If you are speaking about substitution data, this is different, and we have allowed this during the migration period. After a period of time the allowance for substitution will be removed. As for fictitious values, we have no means of detecting this, so I assume that if you are receiving fictitious values on an invoice then you should contact your partner and/or reject the invoice. Hope this helps. Hi Ashley,
yes, I meant substitution data (sorry). What does "a period of time" mean? When will the allowance be removed? Is there an exact date?
Best regards
Sandra

Hi Sandra, Substitution values should be decided to be removed by the Miscellaneous WG in June this year. This would then be made applicable at a later stage. In this case, we will advise the industry of the change(s) and provide adequate time for the changes to be reflected.
