Meaning of: Attachments Indicator Validated and Number Of Attachments

Meaning of: Attachments Indicator Validated and Number Of Attachments

Hi,

 

This is about the meaning of fields:

               (29)Attachment Indicator Validated

               (30) Number of Attachments.

 

It is understood that:

               It is possible to attach Supp Docs to the SF35 OR to SFI26.

               It is NOT allowed to attach Documents to SFI35 AND to SFI26 at the same time.

               Field (30) at the SFI35 summarizes the number of Supp Docs at SFI35 OR the following SFI26es.

 

Are the values of (29)/(30) correct in these cases:

1)      If SFI35 has 5 Supp Docs   -

Then

  At SFI35 (29) = 'Y', (30) = 5

 

 

2)      If SFI35 has NO Supp Docs but SFI26* has 3 Supp Docs and SFI26**  has 4 Supp Docs -

Then

  At SFI35 (29) = 'N', (30) = 7

  At SFI26* (29) = 'Y', (30) = 3

  At SFI26**(29)='Y', (30) = 4

Dear Michael,

 

Attachments can be provided to be attached to RM level (SFI 35) AND/OR RM AWB breakdown level (SFI 26). "Attachment Indicator - Validated" and "Number Of Attachments" fields are output fields populated by SIS. These fields will have the status of attachments provided at the respective levels. So for e.g.

 

5 supporting docs attached at the RM level and zero supporting docs attached at the RM AWB breakdown level then at the RM level (SFI 35) you will have:

"Attachment Indicator - Validated" = "Y"

"Number Of Attachments" = 5

and at the RM AWB breakdown level (SFI 26) you will have:

"Attachment Indicator - Validated" = "N"

"Number Of Attachments" = 0

 

Similarly if 5 supporting docs attached at the RM AWB breakdown  level (SFI 26) and zero supporting docs attached at the RM level then at the RM level (SFI 35) you will have:

"Attachment Indicator - Validated" = "N"

"Number Of Attachments" = 0

and at the RM AWB breakdown level (SFI 26) you will have:

"Attachment Indicator - Validated" = "Y"

"Number Of Attachments" = 5

 

Similarly if 5 supporting docs attached at the RM level and 4 supporting docs attached at the RM AWB breakdown level then at the RM level (SFI 35) you will have:

"Attachment Indicator - Validated" = "Y"

"Number Of Attachments" = 5

and at the RM AWB breakdown level (SFI 26) you will have:

"Attachment Indicator - Validated" = "Y"

"Number Of Attachments" = 4
