I learned a lot from this course. In fact when I began, I knew almost nothing about the travel industry. I learned about  many important things like the work you have to do as a travel agent, the geography, the tarification, and how the airline industry works. It was very diversified and easy to understand even for someone who never worked in this field. It was interesting and most of it all, it gave me the motivation to work hard and succeed.

From a young age, I have had a very inquisitive personality and it is the quest for knowledge and information that partly drove me into taking this course. I have always loved travelling and we travelled much as a family, which opened me up to many things around me. The desire to travel to new places and see new faces set me on the path of a new career course that would allow me to experience a new world while doing what I love. It is this inquisitive nature that led me to work with my sister, who was doing the same course in college. At the time, I was only in high school and I really got to learn a lot and wanted to know more.

The course was as challenging as it was interesting and it helped open me up to various cultural traditions in Kenya and elsewhere. It gives you insights into other peoples and how things function in such places. The course helped broaden my mind and made me appreciative of the diversities that is our world in terms of history, culture, region and social-political set ups.
