IATA Travel and Tourism Diploma graduates can apply for their initial TTP application with special conditions and at a discounted price, only the application fee will apply.

Certification Requirements
To receive your IATA certification as a Travel and Tourism Professional, valid for a period of two years, you will need to adhere to the following criteria:
- Education; secondary diploma (high school or technical institute or global equivalent)
- Job experience: relevant to this area, either two years if you have a bachelor’s degree or three years if you have your secondary diploma
- Complete the on-line form
Note: IATA Travel and Tourism Diploma graduates automatically meet the requirements for TTP Certification, please see the application form for more details.
Maintain your Certification
Your Certification is valid for two years and in that time you can maintain your IATA TTP Certificate by earning 50 points from the following options:
- New reference letter from your current employer or other proof of participation in the industry over the past 24 months (15 points)
- There are 10 points for each of IATA’s International Travel and Tourism Training Program courses, either Classroom or Self-study, you have taken during the past 24 months
- Delivering a training or acting as a guest speaker in your field of expertise, (10 points)
- Attending an industry event or purchasing a relevant publication (5 points)
- Actively participating in IATA webinars or workshops (5 points)
- Actively promoting the IATA Certification programs (5 points)
- Proof of membership of an industry association for your specialty (5 points)
- Complete the on-line form

- Copy of your current IATA TTP Certificate of Competency
- Updated CV
- A USD 250,-- re-certification fee (payable upon approval)
