What you will learn

Upon completing this course you will have the skills to:

  • Assess the impact of the European Union Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) on the aviation industry
  • Identify available carbon trading mechanisms
  • Analyze carbon market dynamics, strategies and pricing
  • Respond to renewable fuel mandates and minimum sustainability criteria

  • Making Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) work for airlines: PR triumphs and pitfalls

Certificate awarded

An IATA Certificate of Completion is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 70% or higher on all exercises and exams. A special distinction is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 90% or higher.
