IATA Governance and Systems in the BSP (Classroom, 2 days)

This course is specially designed for IATA-accredited travel agencies as well as agencies aspiring to gain IATA accreditation. Specifically it is targeted at agency managers and owners by providing them an overview of the establishment and rules governing the Passenger Agency Program so that they could gain an understanding of the importance of implementing checks and controls within their agencies.

Course content

By the end of the course participants will:

  • Gain knowledge of the Governance and Resolutions that regulate the BSP
  • Understand the BSP flow and how the system works
  • Understand BSP Terms and definitions
  • Gain sufficient knowledge to configure and operate the BSPLink System
  • Understand the Agency Accreditation process and its impacts on Airlines BSP process
  • Understand the BSP reports and the information available
  • Know the Remittance and Settlement Process and the obligations from the BSP participants
  • Understand the Agency Debit and Credit process
  • Understand how to use Early Warning System
  • Understanding of fraud prevention in the BSP

Additional information

Participants will receive course materials as well as IATA certificates upon successful completion of the course.
