This course prepares applicants to take the comprehensive FAA/NAA written, oral, and practical exams leading to issuance of the Aircraft Dispatcher license. While originally written for compliance with airline regulatory standards, this education will help standardize dispatchers from global corporate, military, and private operations with best practices and techniques to promote both safety and efficiency within any operation. Training is globally standardized at all Jeppesen locations, however each location includes regional differences required by regulators for licensing. Upon successful completion of the course, graduates will have the background to:

• Earn a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) license through flight dispatcher certificate classes delivered in the United States.
• Earn a relevant National Aviation Administration (NAA) license through flight dispatcher training courses delivered in other locations.

• Duties, responsibilities, and local/international regulations for all dispatchers
• Proficiency in: meteorology, emergency, security, communications, ATC, navigation principles & systems, approach procedures, charts and airspace, aerodynamics, aircraft systems, performance, ETOPS, terrain driftdown, wt&bal, MEL/CDLs, international operations and regulations, icing, manual flight planning, fuel conservation strategies, DRM, and practical dispatching
• Familiarization with Operation Control / Flight Dispatch software tools such as flight planning systems, crew scheduling, airport analysis / aircraft performance analysis, NavData, Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) and other related products.
