About

Gain the knowledge and skills necessary to facilitate root cause analysis as an effective problem solving process to find and evaluate the cause of problems. Investigate errors, accidents and incidents and comply with your internal quality processes and international regulations, such as ICAO and EASA using the root cause analysis tools. In this five day course, you will learn the key steps to conducting an effective root cause analysis, which tools to use for root cause identification, and how to develop effective corrective actions plans.

This course is available at IATA Training Centers, Regional Training Partner locations, and on-demand as in-company training.

Course format

  • This classroom course provides 5 days (40 hours) of instruction delivered by an official IATA Instructor.
  • Student performance will be based on an examination

Prerequisites

  • There are no prerequisites for this course
  • Recommended level is Management and Professional
  • The recommended level of language proficiency is ICAO Operational Level 4 for courses in English or equivalent for other languages.

Certificate awarded
