Take a hands-on approach to Safety Management System implementation.

Conduct an assessment of your organization’s level of SMS compliance with the help of a checklist and action plan. Gain tools to facilitate implementation, promote organizational change and monitor operations continuously.

As the first of four workshops in the SMS Implementation Professional Diploma, this workshop looks at the fundamental stages of the SMS program, breaking the implementation process into projects and initiatives.

This is the first of four courses that make up the SMS Implementation Professional Diploma:

  1. SMS Impelmentation Methodology
  2. SMS Implementation Plan I
  3. SMS Implementation Plan II
  4. Developing an Effective Safety Culture

You will be given an assignment at the end of this course, its deliverables will be reviewed and further developed during the SMS Implementation Plan I and SMS Implementation II courses.

Certificate awarded

An IATA Certificate of Completion is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 70% or higher on all exercises and exams. A special distinction is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 90% or higher.
