Upon completing this course you will have the skills to:
- Verify that systems are correctly applying the rules of fare construction and baggage selection
- Calculate normal unrestricted and restricted one-way fares
- Determine when to apply specified routings versus the mileage system principle
- Calculate the Higher Intermediate Point and Backhaul checks
- Select the best special fare for a passenger's itinerary and recognize related ticketing entries

An IATA Certificate of Completion is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 70% or higher on all exercises and exams. A special distinction is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 90% or higher.
