People Management and Development for Airlines (PMDA) serves as a best practice guide for airlines or other training organizations to strategically implement or strengthen their existing HR processes, focused on continuous people development, enhanced internal communications and performance.

The PMDA Program comprises two main phases:

• Phase One is hands-on from the very beginning. It involves a 4 to 5 day gap between analysis conducted jointly with the participants, leading to an Action Plan for them to close key gaps over a period agreed with the facilitator. Progress is closely monitored by IATA.

• Phase Two is instructional, and will include one or two ITDI training courses to further enhance theoretical knowledge on areas particularly important for the organization.

Between the 1st and 2nd workshop IATA will provide the Management team access to the Harvard Business Publishing program available in English, French, Spanish and Mandarin.
