IATA e-Cargo Business Process and Standards aviation training course

Become an expert in e-business processes and standards and understand the role of technology in air freight in order to assess and prepare your organization for the adoption of e-freight. This four-day course will provide you with the latest developments in e-cargo procedures, standard electronic messaging, and e-air waybill business rules. Learn about information exchange, system integration, and the technical requirements for core documents. Air cargo procedures and standards involve the use of many types of documents and the movement of millions of document pouches worldwide. Air cargo should move towards electronic documents, becoming paperless, to increase its efficiency, and preserve the environment.

Prerequisites

  • Participants should have prior knowledge of air cargo procedures.
  • Recommended level is Intermediate.
  • The recommended level of language proficiency is ICAO Operational Level 4 for courses in English or the equivalent level for other languages.

Certificate awarded

An IATA Certificate of Completion is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 70% or higher on all exercises and exams. A special distinction is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 90% or higher.
