• Systematic management approaches: Safety Management Systems (SMS), Integrated Aviation Risk Management (IAMS), Risk management.
• ICAO's role in Air Navigation Service Provision: ICAO Global Air Navigation Plan, Performance-based Navigation (PBN), CNS/ATM, GNSS, Aeronautical Communications Infrastructure.
• Environmental issues and new ATC techniques for Air Traffic Management.

An IATA Certificate of Completion is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 70% or higher on all exercises and exams. A special distinction is awarded to participants obtaining a grade of 90% or higher.
