Duration: 20 days (160 hours)
Recommended level: Professional and Management
Prerequisites: Ab initio instrument procedures designers.

What you will learn

Upon completing this course you will have the skills to:

  • Apply general criteria for procedures design as well as specific criteria for non-precision approaches using conventional navigation, precision approaches and area navigation (RNAV), including global navigation satellite system (GNSS) non-precision approaches
  • Be able to apply the Quality Assurance processes that need to be observed when designing air traffic control procedures

  • ANS providers
  • Civil Aviation Authorities





It is recommended that participants have completed Performance-based Navigation I or have equivalent background in PBN.
