Airline Management Integration: Air Mercury™

Lead your team to success with a high level understanding of airline operations.

Air Mercury offers a unique combination of classroom lectures and exercises to prepare you to develop, present and defend a business plan.

Working in teams, you are challenged to devise a business plan to return Air Mercury, IATA’s virtual airline, to profitability and long-term viability. You will contribute in formulating a high-level strategy for network and fleet development, new schedule creation and making decisions on branding, product definition and marketing.  The simulation tool enables your team to test and evaluate the impact of their plans and decisions in financial and operational terms.

Once all teams have finalized their turn-around plans, they will present the results to a panel of industry experts representing the airline’s Board of Directors. Teams must justify and defend their plans, demonstrating that they have learned what it takes to bring stability and long-term viability to their airline.
