ITDI Partners Global Advisory Board

A selection of members from our global training partner network have been given the opportunity to serve as a member of the IATA Training & Development Institute (ITDI) Partners Global Advisory Board for the 2013-2014 term.

Why an ITDI Partners Global Advisory Board

The creation of this group is a direct outcome of the March 2013 IATA Global Training Partner Congress held in Abu Dhabi, and shows the strong determination to help capture and reflect the voice of the market, as well as to: 

  • Understand and provide segmented solutions for every industry stream
    • Airport
    • Airlines
    • Ground Handling Companies
    • Travel Agencies
    • Air Navigation Service Providers
    • Civil Aviation Authorities
    • Cargo
    • Academia
    • Training Schools
  • Enable ITDI to engage its partners more effectively and expand the joint activities
  • Employ the best method to remain up to date with the latest techniques in education, learning and people development

What are the responsibilities of a board member?

Create a task force comprised of members in the respective segments:

    • Develop a mission for the segment with a clear yearly objective
    • Lead the task force in bringing up key issues that need to be addressed and communicate important findings to them

Contribute in driving the engagement agenda:

    • Lead the discussion panels in the annual global training partner congress
    • Propose engagement activities that can effectively assist the market and each segment

Act as a sounding board for ITDI, being a two-way medium for the members
