Diploma in Air Cargo Operations (Distance Learning)

Cargo professionals are now, more than ever, required to understand very complex and changing issues to be able to maximise all aspects of their business operations. Challenges are numerous and this Diploma will assist individuals in gaining a well rounded understanding of today’s complex cargo environment to secure competitive advantage in the industry.

Diploma Requirements

This Diploma will be awarded by IATA to those who successfully complete four of the following distance learning (self-study) courses offered through the International Cargo Agents Training Programme within a three-year period.

To successfully complete a Cargo course and receive a certificate, a candidate must achieve a passing mark of 80% in Dangerous Goods Regulations Initial and the Dangerous Goods Regulations Recurrent. For all other courses, a passing mark of 70% is required. To achieve Distinction in any course, a candidate must obtain 90%. Evaluation of participants is based on the results of exams which are set by the IATA Training & Development Institute (ITDI) for each course.

The same elective course cannot be applied to more than 1 Diploma.
