IATA Cargo Action on the Environment

During 2008, IATA will deliver the first phase of a benchmarking project initially for Perishables (Food and Flowers) on specific trade routes, involving supply chain, producer, and retailers. The emphasis here will be to establish a baseline and set of priorities for action in reducing supply chain emissions. A Climate Change Working Group is likely to be formed out of this project.
