The e-freight Capability Matrix: Technology Assessment of IT Vendors’ e-freight solutions
Background:
The e-freight Capability Matrix will facilitate the migration to 100% e-freight by 2015 for all stakeholders in the cargo supply chain. The matrix will show the availability of IT solutions for the functions needed (such as messaging standards) to support stakeholders including shippers, forwarders, airlines, etc.
If you would like to be listed in the Capability Matrix, please participate in our Technology Assessment by registering below.
Objectives of the matrix:
- Identify major requirements for e-freight in terms of IT capabilities
- Identify services and solutions to meet these requirements
- List vendors and IT e-freight products available (per regions/ countries)
Who can participate:
- All IT vendors offering e-freight services and solutions
How to participate:
Please fill in the registration form below to register your company as an IT vendor offering e-freight services and solutions.
After your application is validated, you will receive the Technology Assessment questionnaire along with a deadline for returning the information. To allow IATA to incorporate your data in the Capability Matrix, you will be requested to sign and return a letter of agreement.
Results of participation:
All Technology Assessments received by mid-February 2012 will be incorporated into the first installment of the e-freight Capability Matrix that will be available for free download. Submissions received after this date will be included in future installments.
