Mandatory Label

The Time and Temperature Sensitive label is a shipment label, specific to the healthcare industry, that must be affixed to all shipments booked as time and temperature sensitive cargo.

Effective 1 July 2012, the IATA Time and Temperature Sensitive label is mandatory for the transportation of healthcare cargo shipments.

Current supply chain stakeholders may encounter issues with the implementation period for the Time and Temperature Sensitive label. Therefore, it is recommended that these issues are discussed and resolved on a one-to-one basis.
