Safety Data Management and Analysis

Safety - our Number One priority        IATA Safety Data Management and Analysis activities are a part of IATA's revised Six-point Safety Strategy and are available via the Global Aviation Data Management (GADM) program.

The GADM provides IATA members and other eligible industry member with a wealth of information and acts as a gateway to the multiple sources and areas of aircraft operation.

IATA's GADM program now includes information from over 470 different organizations.

Extensive data collection

Through GAMD participation, you could have access to:

  • Industry accident/incident data and analysis as well as operational reports (pilot and flight attendant reports) captured in the Safety Trend Evaluation, Analysis & Data Exchange System (STEADES) database database and annually published in the IATA Safety Report.
  • Aircraft ground damage reports and analysis in a new Ground Damage Database (GDDB).
  • Collated Flight Data Analysis (FDA) information in a global Flight Data eXchange (FDX).
  • Reviews of IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) and of IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) findings.
