Safety Data Management and Analysis

IATA Safety Data Management and Analysis activities are a part of IATA's Six-point Safety Program and is available via the Global Safety Information Center (GSIC).

Safety - our Number One priority

 


The GSIC provides IATA's members with a wealth of safety information and acts as a gateway to the all six active safety and auditing databases and reports.

IATA's GSIC now includes information from over 420 different organizations.

Extensive safety data collection

Through GSIC, you have access to:

  • Industry accident/ incident data and analysis as well as operational reports (pilot and flight attendant reports) captured in the Safety Trend Evaluation, Analysis & Data Exchange System (STEADES) database and annually published in the IATA Safety Report;
  • Aircraft ground damage reports and analysis in a new Ground Damage Database (GDDB);
  • Collated Flight Data Analysis (FDA) information in a global Flight Data eXchange (FDX);
  • Reviews of IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) and of IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operations (ISAGO) findings
