The ISAGO Audit Pool was started by a group of IATA member airlines who committed their auditors to carry out ISAGO audits, in order to allow pool members to share audit reports. This avoided the need for conducting their own audits at the stations where their Ground Service Provider is ISAGO registered, thereby saving valuable time and resources. Recently, the audit pool has been expanded by opening it to airlines which are not IATA members, but which are nevertheless IOSA certified.
