The 19th IATA Operations Committee (OPC) meeting was held in Beijing on 24-25 March. Nearly 30 COOs from IATA member airlines and guests attended the meeting including Nancy Graham from ICAO, Alain Siebert from SESAR JU, Constantin Scordidis from THALES and representatives from the CAAC Flight Standard Department and Chinese State ATC Commission Office. Discussions and initiatives presented at the OPC can be found throughout this Flight Bag edition. IATA continues to help its members through the economical crisis and our work remains focused on a balance between strategic goals and implementation.
IATA is proud to announce that all its members are now on the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) registry. This is a great accomplishment for both IATA members and IATA itself.
