Foreign Operations Specification

IATA believes the Foreign Operations Specification needs to be in accordance with ICAO standards and guidance material. Unharmonised Operations Specification cause airlines unnecessary bureaucratic and training burden with no contribution to safety. IATA has been working with ICAO to develop meaningful provisions. In the meantime, States have been asked to refrain from the development of new requirements, which are not aligned with ICAO SARPs.
