Airport & ATC Charges Working Group

IATA airline members of the Airport and ATC Charges Working Group meet regularly with the objective of ensuring that airlines receive value for money for the use of airport and air navigation facilities and services.

The main activities of the Airport and ATC Charges Working Group are to:

• Proactively reduce airport and ATC charges and other related costs.
• Ensure that airport and ATC charges are reasonable, cost-related and non-discriminatory, in accordance with ICAO policies on charges.
• Develop appropriate policies on airport and ATC charges in conjunction with IATA.
• Identify and prioritise campaigns and issues to reduce airport and ATC charges in order to achieve agreed industry targets for cost reductions/avoidance.
