Cargo Security Task Force (CSTF)
The objective of the Cargo Security Task Force (CSTF) is to provide aviation security regulators with access to, and input from, a globally balanced group of cargo industry experts to ensure that the experiences and constraints of the airline industry are considered in the development of effective security regulations.
Deliverables
The CSTF will review and provide recommendations on the information for the security of the airfreight supply chain for cargo, express and mail, contained within the following:
- Industry position
- Standard resolutions and recommended practices
- IATA Security manual
- IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA)
- IATA Training & Development Institute (ITDI) materials
- Secure Freight Program

Terms of Reference
The CSTF reports jointly to the IATA Cargo Committee and the IATA Operations Commitee.

Membership
The CSTF comprises of airline cargo and mail security experts from around the world. There are 10 members and 5 observers appointed for a one-year term. The membership is approved by the IATA Operations Committee and with the input of the IATA Cargo Committee and the IATA Security Executive Group
