Commercial Fuel Working Group (CFWG)

Reporting to the IATA Financial Committee, the Commercial Fuel Working Group (CFWG) provides oversight and direction to further the interests of IATA member airlines in all aspects of aviation fuel. Standing objectives of the CFWG include ensuring reliable fuel supply at international airports, eliminating unnecessary duties, fees and taxes, and promoting open, competitive, market-based pricing for fuel and related services.

Composition

The CFWG comprises a Chair, Vice Chair and eight Panel Directors from IATA member airlines representing specific geographic regions to provide global coverage. Panel members are elected by Commercial Fuel Working Group representatives from IATA member airlines and serve a two-year term.

Assisting the CFWG in their activities is the Fuel Suppliers Advisory Panel (FSAP), comprising five representatives from companies participating as Registered Fuel Suppliers in the IATA Partnership Program. FSAP members are elected by the Registered Fuel Supplier community and serve a two-year term.
